TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION FOR A TATTOO APPOINTMENT AT MUGSHOT TATTOO BERLIN

Hi there!

Thank you for choosing Mugshot Tattoo Berlin.
Please read the following lines carefully to be informed about your tattoo appointment.

As of May 20th, 2022:

One accompanying person may come with you, and she/he must bring some animal food that we collect and donate to the Tierheim Berlin every month. (:

APPOINTMENT

An appointment arrangement is exclusively carried out personally or by email. No appointments will be made by telephone or via social media, only walk in ones on the same day if we have the capacity.

At this point we would like to ask you to plan your tattoo carefully, this includes that you realize in advance that you might have to wait a few weeks to months with every good tattoo artist. The tattoo must be coordinated with your own holiday planning.

Also for your own well-being it is advised to take a day off for a tattoo, so that you can come fit and well rested to the appointment. If you work in industries where your skin is heavily stressed, please remember to take a day off after the tattoo day so that the fresh wound is not stressed by external influences. If you have any further questions about scheduling, don’t hesitate to contact us.

DEPOSIT

The deposit is non-refundable.

Your appointment becomes binding for us and for you as soon as you have paid a deposit of 50,00 or 100,00 or 200,00 Euro. You can pay the deposit by 2 methods: bank transfer or cash in the studio. Please let us know by e-mail which method of payment is suitable for you.

The deposit must be paid by the deadline stated in the booking email, otherwise the appointment will be allocated elsewhere.

If you can not take your appointment, you can postpone it ONCE and the notification must be received at least 72 hours before your appointment in WRITING BY EMAIL to hello(at)mugshot-tattoo.com (NOT SOCIAL MEDIA, NOT CHAT APPS, NOT PHONE CALL). This applies for short term bookings as well. If you book a weekend appointment or more than one full day session on consecutive days, no matter when you want to rebook the appointment, the deposit will be retained and we need a new deposit for a new appointment.

It can only be refunded it we cancel your appointment for any reason.

As of October 26, 2020 we are not reimbursing deposits for COVID-19 regulation related cancellations. You can only reschedule your appointment, which means you can get back to us once the situation is clear and we arrange a new appointment.

You cannot transfer your paid appointment to another person yourself.

For organizational reasons we will send you a confirmation email of the arrival of your deposit and your appointment. We will also inform you if no deposit has been received till the deadline and that your appointment is not reserved any longer.

If your appointment is cancelled by us, you will get your deposit back or you can have it rebooked for another appointment.

If the customer is unable to attend the appointment due to illness, this must be documented by the customer with an official medical certificate. If a corresponding certificate is presented, the customer has the option of postponing the appointment once. In this case, the deposit will be transferred to the new date. Without a medical certificate, the appointment reservation and the deposit paid will be forfeited.

APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

The appointments that have been booked with a deposit are confirmed for you and for us. We will remind you of your appointment about a week in advance.

We do not send tattoo drafts via email or social media or chat apps. You can/should come in the studio before your appointment to take a look at the draft and discuss any modifications. We do this because most of the tattoo designs need explanation.
If you don’t like your tattoo draft, we will of course make changes together with you at the beginning of the tattoo appointment.
A not liking of the tattoo template does not lead to the refund of the deposit.

Please inform us a few days before the appointment about any medication you need to take.

THE TATTOO APPOINTMENT

You should get a good night’s sleep and show up healthy for your appointment. Please do not come to the tattoo appointment on an empty stomach or intoxicated. Refrain from drinking coffee right before the appointment and alcohol the nicht before already. You should also calculate with possible delays (up to 30-60 Minutes), as tattoo sessions are not always possible to estimate very precisely.

We reserve the right to cancel the appointment if you appear sick or in obviously bad health or intoxicated. In this case you lose the deposit.

During the tattoo session you may take photos and videos with your mobile phone if it does not interfere with the tattoo artist’s work.

For your appointment you may bring headphones and your own music.

If we have planned a big tattoo, there will be breaks in between where you can eat, drink and smoke. We always have water, coffee, dextrose and chocolate with us, you will have to bring/order your own lunchtime meals.

Children under 16 and pets are not allowed in the studio.
